Stars of Harmony was formed in 2006 at Patapsco High School. This version of the quartet included Jessica (tenor) and Joanna (bass), along with two other young ladies that sang lead and baritone. Since then, the quartet has changed members several times, but Jessica and Joanna have remained strong throughout these changes. Recently, Rachael joined the quartet as lead, and in July 2010, Meghan became their baritone.
Stars of Harmony have competed at regional competitions for 4 years. October 2010, marked their second year competing in the Sweet Adelines Rising Star Contest for the Young Women in Harmony program. In 2009, they ranked 8th in the contest and in 2010 they made it into the top 5!
This year, Stars of Harmony is extremely proud of themselves for placing 6th, in the 2011 Region 19 Contest and they placed 3rd in the 2011 Rising Star Contest!!!
