"In 1957, my Mom & I came to the very 1st rehearsal of the Dundalk Chapter held at the YMCA in Dundalk. In March, 1958, the Dundalk Chapter was chartered and my mom & I sang together for about 35 years in the Dundalk Chorus. Our mutual love of barbershop harmony and the musical experiences that we shared are such happy memories to me now and I am still proud to be a member of this wonderful Dundalk organization."
"I joined the Dundalk chorus because I have always loved barbershop singing. There's something about that close harmony that just makes me happy. I wanted to be part of that heavenly sound! There are other choruses closer to my home, but I stay at Dundalk because there is a wonderful balance between striving for perfection and enjoying the companionship of your singing sisters. Some Thursdays, I really don't feel like going to rehearsal after a long day at work, but I'm always glad once I'm there. The music sets me free from the stresses of the world, and the women--well, they're just good friends!"

"Singing barbershop harmony with such a dedicated group of ladies has been one of the highlights of my life for the past 26 years. I love the camaraderie we have and the lasting friendships which have developed over the years. I also love the following quote from Danny Cuthbert, of SPEBSQSA, who said 'Time spent singing is not counted against your allotted time on earth'. What an interesting concept!!!"

"I love being a member of the Dundalk Sweet Adeline's because of the beautiful singing and friendships I am making. To be a part of such a positive experience is an honor and a blessing."

"The chorus has always made me feel like an important, integral part of it, as well as a part of the family. I love the Dundalk Chorus, and I can't imagine singing with any other group of women."

I wish everyone could have the fond memories of being a member of this chapter for over fifty years. Yet that would negate the promise our younger members have brought to us. Current Regional Champions, IES Champions, 5th Place IES Competitors, and now bringing us into the 21st century with this new website. I would like to thank all the members of my Chorus for allowing me to be along for the ride, and "GO DUNDALK".

"The Dundalk Chorus has filled a void in my life since retiring from teaching. The members of this wonderful group of women have become my extended family and I have found some great new friends"

I have been with the Chorus for 10 years and have enjoyed meeting & making many new friends. And the singing is great as well! I can’t remember what I did with my Thursdays before I joined!
